Day 1: Airport / Dambulla / Sigiriya

Arrival to Colombo International Airport and meet our representative guide at the airport arrival lobby. Transfer from Airport to Dambulla - Dambulla Rock temple was built by King Walagambahu during the 1st Century B.C. The major attraction of Dambulla is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex which covers an area about 2,100 m˛. Dambulla is a UENESCO world heritage site. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding and the paintings are done on the ceiling. There are a total of 153 Buddha statues 3 statues of Sri Lankan kings and 4 statues of god and goddess. After that, Transfer from Dambulla to Sigiriya - Climb the citadel of Sigiriya which was built in 5th century. Sigiriya is treated as one of the most remarkable creations in the world, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). Path through the gardens along Stone stairways come to the Lion Gate. Only the rock carving and the brick structure is evident today of the lion’s mouth through which millions of people have walked to admire he beauty of this magnificent citadel.

Day 2: Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa / Sigiriya

After Breakfast, Transfer from Sigiriya to Polonnaruwa. Explore Polonnaruwa by Cycle - Polonnaruwa the second capital of Sri Lanka from 1017 A.D to 1235 A.D. Polonnaruwa is also a UNESCO world heritage city. You will be able to see the ruins of Royal Palace king Parakramabahu, Audience Hall, the statue of king Parakramabahu, Watadage, the Galpotha, Parakrama Samudraya (Sea of Parakrama) which was built by King Parakramabahu I, covers an area of 5940 acres and the elegant Lotus pond was built in 12th century. There are also famous monument of worship such as the Gal Viharaya which has 4 magnificent carved Buddha statues, Kiri Vehera (the remains of a former Temple of the Tooth Relic) and Shiva Temple. Later, Transfer from Polonnaruwa to Sigiriya. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 3: Sigiriya / Matale / Kandy

After Breakfast, Transfer from Sigiriya to Matale. Visit Nalanda Gedige - Believed to be found right in the center of Sri Lanka, Nalanda Gedige is an ancient complete stone building near Matale. The richly decorated facade sections, laboriously reassembled in 1975, are predominantly in the South Indian style, and may have originated in the eighth to 11th centuries, but cannot be precisely dated. However, the god Kubera appears on the south side of the tympanum over the sanctuary, and this is a feature only to be found in Sri Lanka. Visit a Spice Garden - Visit a spice garden in Matale to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. Clients will be able to see different spices and how some of these spices are grown and processed. Witness Cookery demonstrations as well. Also Visit Spice Garden visit with cookery demonstrations - This culinary tour is an ideal way by which the discerning traveler can immerse himself or herself in the history and the ethos of Sri Lanka, its people and their customs and of course most importantly their food. You can learn about Sri Lankan spices and various Sri Lankan cookery methods. Later Transfer from Matale to Kandy - Kandy was the last capital of Sinhala Kings. The valley of Kandy is surrounded by magnificent hills which made it as the last bastion. Today Kandy offers its visitors rich collection of art and craft and historical buildings. It includes a collection of ancient temples buildings, handicrafts, souvenirs, bazaar and gem museum and the temple of tooth relic which houses the most sacred Buddhist relic in the world, the Tooth of Lord Buddha. Visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts center, a gem museum and a lapidary. Witness a Cultural Show

Day 4: Kandy / Ramboda / Nuwara Eliya

After Breakfast, Explore Kandy - Gems & Jewelry!! - Sri Lanka is world renowned for its precious & semi-precious Gems. Specially the Sri Lankan Blue Sapphire. It is very unique & owns a huge reputation in the world. Clients could visit a Gemological Museum, a gem cutting factory & also can witness a documentary on Gem mining & the process. Later you can shop for Gems, Jewelry & Other ornaments. Don’t forget to collect your authenticity certificate for gems. After that Transfer from Kandy to Ramboda. Visit the Famous Ramboda Falls - Ramboda is a breathtaking natural beauty. There are two prominent waterfalls next to each other. Clients could take pictures & enjoy the view from a view deck.Later Transfer from Ramboda to Nuwara Eliya - Nuwara Eliya is located at the heart of the hill country 6182 feet above from the sea level. The town is situated at 74 km away along Kandy-Nuwara Eliya road and this was rediscovered by British in 1827. It is still very much like an old English town with styled Bungalows and buildings. The cool calm climate, gorges rolling tea plantation which makes the best “Ceylon tea” and the breathtaking beautiful waterfalls makes Nuwara Eliya one of the most beautiful town in the world. Visit to Seetha Amman Temple - A temple for Lord Rama, Seetha Devi, Luxshmana and Hanuman built on the sides of the stream where Seetha Devi bathed. This is considered a prime location in the Ramayana Trail. Worshiped by many thousands of Hindu Devotees around the globe.

Day 5: Nuwara Eliya / Ella / Yala

After Breakfast, Transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Ella - Ella is only a small village located high in the mountains. Most visitors to Ella only spend a couple of days there. The other nice thing about Ella is the climate. Hot during the day and nice and cool at night. If you fancy climbing the peaks that are dotted around Ella, then make sure you take sun protection and water! Later Visit the Ravana - The Ravana Falls (popularly known as Ravana Ella in Sinhala) is a popular sightseeing attraction in Sri Lanka. It currently ranks as one of the widest falls in the country. This waterfall measures approximately 25 m (82 ft) in high and cascade from an oval-shaped concave rock outcrop. After that , Transfer from Nuwara-Eliya to Yala - Yala National Park is the second largest national park in Sri Lanka and is the most visit The Park consists of 05 blocks. Only two are now open for the public. Explore Safari at Yala Park - Do a jeep safari at Yala National Park, Stated about 309 km from Colombo Yala National Park is treated as one of the most premier tourist destination of Sri Lanka. The park is very popular for Jeep Safaris among local and foreign tourists Park is home to elephants, spotted deer, barking deer, sloth bear, Wild buffalo, and wild boar. More than 120 species of birds are living in the park.

Day 6: Yala / Weligama / Galle / Bentota

After Breakfast, Transfer from Yala to Weligama, Visit the area of Still Fishing – Weligama - Still fishing is one of the most iconic scenes in Sri Lanka. It is a very unique traditional way of fishing for Sri Lankan fishing community. The fisherman spends hours sitting on a thin plank waiting for a good catch. Proceed to Galle - Galle was a main port of Sri Lanka from 14th century. The first fort of Galle was built by Portuguese. Walk along the walls of the fort enjoy the magnificent view of the ocean and do not forget to watch the sun set which gives you an astonishing view from the walls of the Galle fort. Also Cover Turtle hatchery at Kosgoda - There are five varieties of Sea Turtles found in Sri Lanka, namely Olive Ridley Turtle, Loggerhead Turtle, Green Turtle, Hawksbill Turtle and Leatherhead Turtle. The all major nesting habitats are located in the Galle – Later Transfer to Transfer from Galle to Bentota - A Sri Lankan coastal city famous for golden beaches, Bentota is situated on the southern coastal tip of the Galle District of the Southern Province. Day 7: Bentota / Colombo

After Breakfast, Transfer from Bentota to Colombo . Explore City tour of Colombo. In the afternoon, do a city tour of Colombo. Colombo is the commercial and business center of Sri Lanka located on west coast. The city blends together with old colonial type building, high-rise commercial buildings and hotels. It is filled with shopping malls. Some of the finest structures built during the colonial times still preserved in one part of the City. For example, there is a 100- year-old clock tower. And the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) which was a gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China. After that, Transfer to Pettah Bazaar - It is an ideal location for street & bargain shopping. There are thousands of venders selling all kinds of goods & one could have a localized shopping experience. It is not advisable to purchase expensive things from here. It is good for mingling with local folks. Visit one of the famous Colombo Casinos. You could play Roulette, Poker, Baccarat, and Blackjack to slot games.
